1952 SINGLE CAB

First year of the Single cab so of course there isn't any "changes" yet. So I
just posted some features for this year which continue on until the change is noted in the
appropriate year.
Truck starts production
mid-year.
No Cab floor mat.
Gates have no stampings on sides
or the tailgate, they are smooth.

Gates use 6mm bolts to attach
brackets and latches (1952 only)
Dashboard is merely a pod
holding the speedo, headlight and wiper switch etc. Full width dashboard available as an
option only.

Reflectors have big diamonds and
a black painted back

Mirror arm attaches to window
post.

Vent window is hinged and
attaches to front of window post.

Heater knob is pull out style.
Push start button is made of
bakelite.
Chrome
hubcaps (until end of 58)
Semaphore switch is located on
the speedometer pod in the upper right corner. 80mph speedometer reads upside down and
backwards.

Speedometer cable has no
shielding.
Front bumper is commonly called
the "ribbed" bumper. Front is same as a standard bus.

No rear bumper.
Air cleaner
is truck only and has a 2 piece arm

Crankstart rear apron- not the
same as a standard barndoor, truck only

Front emblem has 3 pegs to
attach it and they are threaded.

"Terostat"
strips used to seal wood slats to bed. Was sealing compound (Sep 20-034096)
Gas
tank is truck specific
