Rim: Back/inside tire -Rim should be painted semi gloss black
entirely, then the face only received the color. Bumper: - Typically had overspray from face color, with grey primer showing through. |
FRONTSIDE |
Rim/Bumper: SILBER WEISS "L82" (Silver White) This color was used on all
rims and bumpers up into the late 60's note: ribbed bumpers were painted silber weiss on the rib, and body color on the remaining area. All other years were solid weiss. |

POWDER
COATING Although this is not correct, some people opt to go this route. It is suggested that the closest correct color should be either: Traffic White (RAL 9016) or Signal White (RAL 9003) I have not seen these colors, but I have heard they are a very close match **update - i have been informed that Signal white seemed to be "too bright" ** Also try HB Fuller "Chameleon" |
