1968 VW Crewcab

this is in excellent condition, 123,000 original miles

68 single cab.

daily driver with rust. Looks good from twenty feet but rusty underneath. Balanced 1641 with new carb, runs excellent. New ball joints, good brakes, just a good truck to drive or restore. Complete and correct, one key fits all locks, fairly straight bed and gates with some small rust spots. Has homemade underdash tray as built by a former Boeing engineer.

Husbands death forces sale. 1969 Double Cab. In Good condition. Some surface rust, rust in floorboard. Good paint. All original.

Complete new braking system. Complete new interior still in the boxes. Runs great! Needs new rubber, one lens cover and one windshield wiper.

71 sc for sale. It is in good shape for the use your truck like a truck enthusist. Great interior! New tires! Fresh engine (about 5 grand on it) I use it as a daily driver. Power disc brakes! New battery! Electric fuel pump! Electronic ignition! New Alternator! Header and Turbo muffler! Great truck all around! treasure chest is ok and it dose have some rust. No major rust on frame just cosmetic on the body and dogleg as usual. All rust has been treated and the bed has ryno liner as well as the treasure chest! Excellent driver smoother then modern cars! Has electric heater booster and all electrical works. Needs some paint work and the normal nicks and dings.

Parting out 1968 double cab. No sign of wreckage-just undercarraige rust.
No motor or tranny, no gates.
I do have glass-minus the windshield, doors are fair, cab is fair,
front and rear seat frames, door lock hardware, window hardware, dash, misc
sheet metal, rear pan and rear engine door, bed is fair with lower quarter
rust. $150 for all or will seperate. Make offer. If you need something

This truck was redone about 5 years ago---everything works great---runs strong---family issues force sale---

1970 Single Cab - 100% Rust Free AZ truck. 1600cc dual port engine runs good, trans works well but shifter needs a front bushing I think. I hope to put that in soon. Brakes work great, all lights work including turn signals and wipers. Truck comes with extra front bumper and the original rear bumper (not pictured). Side gates are very nice with no rust. The rear gate is beat up and could be fixed if you have those skills, I don't. The bed is also very nice with no rust and only a few dents. This truck was used by a local house painter since 1974 hence all the house paint splatters on it. Treasure chest is still original primer and looks great. This would make a good work truck or restoration candidate. The body is original white paint and there are some dents in the corners but nothing that requires cutting or welding. I drove it for a few weeks to work and is very reliable. Will easily make a road trip to its new home.

I have parted out a rusty 70 crewcab. Have all three gates which are strait with slight rust in inner hinge area; all hardware also. Rear seat with base; third door with glass/vent window; vent window on drivers side also. I have both rear quarters that were cut behind rear wheel arch - inside of rear gate hinge area. They are strait with minor rust where bumper wraps around quarter area. Also have both front doors complete with glass/vents.

NOS treasure chest door skin.

1970 Single Cab Pickup.
SOLD!! Recent class winner at Central Ohio Vintage VW Volksfest (largest VW show in the Midwest). Complete restoration in late 2000. Paint, interior, brakes, electrical, engine. New ash slats in bed. Gates have been repaired but rust free, solid & in good condition. Dual treasure chest doors with working locks. Real nice truck.

1968 single cab.SOLD!!! reliable daily driven truck. dual treasure chest doors. Came to me a year and a half ago with low miles on a rebuilt 1600 dp long block, rebuilt steering box, shocks, and cv's. I have since added a new carb, regulator, generator, fuel pump, muffler, new wheel bearings(all of them), brakes front and rear. nos driver door window regulator, and oem scrapers and felts. rusted battery trays L/R, some front floor rust trough but the floors are still strong and have been por-15ed to stop the rust. bed and belly box are solid. headliner has one tear, comes with a brand new headliner and some other misc. seals and stuff. Truck runs strong, has a later case and dog house cooler. good tire tread, heavy duty custom built lumber rack that bolts up to where a tilt would. available without the stereo for $2800 obo or with sony tape deck, sony 10 disc changer, kenwood amp and speakers for $3600 obo.
